Emily Schmidt Pitorak, LMT

Emily has been practicing massage therapy since 2007 and enjoys creating a healing and soothing atmosphere for her clients.  She incorporates many modalities into her work, including Swedish Massage, Connective Tissue Therapy, Kinesthetic Awareness through Movement, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Positional Release Therapy, and Aromatherapy.  She also practices Prenatal Massage and Hot Stone Massage and has recently begun studying CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.  Emily studied massage therapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York, and at the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron, Ohio.  She also studied Music and History at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.  She holds a current massage therapy license with the State Medical Board of Ohio (LMT) and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).  When Emily isn’t at work, you can usually find her singing, reading, or spending time outdoors with her family.
